From the Argentinean side,Garganta del Diablo (Devil’s Throat) is the heart of the falls, reached via train followed by a 1km walk across the river. When To Go
- September to November, the temperatures are pleasantly cool and the jacarandas are blooming.
- Summer can be hot and humid. You’re probably going to get wet anyway, but this is also an expensive time to visit.
- Autumn temperatures are quite cool, and a prime time for trekking and sightseeing.
Getting There
- The bus leaves Puerto Iguazu every 30 minutes for the falls.
- Taxis are inexpensive and also leave from Puerto Iguazu.
- Organised tours are obviously more expensive, but give you time to look at the park without having to worry about connections.
