Location
In the Cannaregio district of Venice, the Arcadia is in one of the liveliest areas of the city and has a true Venetian atmosphere. Near to the railway station and Piazzale Roma, the hotel is a short walk from the Jewish Ghetto and the Piazza San Marco.
Rooms
The hotel's guest rooms are decorated in a simple but elegant style with Murano glass lighting. All rooms feature comfortable beds with wooden furniture and a full bathroom.
Restaurant
Each morning guests can enjoy a continental breakfast in the hotel. Il Gazebo, which offers guests preferential rates, is also situated in the same building as the hotel.
General
The Arcadia Hotel is a welcoming place to stay in the centre of Venice with a unique homely feel. The staff are always on hand to help with places to visit, exhibitions, and events, and the hotel also offers a tour to a glass kiln on the island of Murano.

This hotel is very well located, not far from the station. Unfortunately no air conditioning but would stay here again.

A nice hotel - very friendly service. Main complaint is lack of a lift - we had to cart our cases upstairs - once we had done that, our experience was good. The address was confusing and we had difficulty finding the place - again, once we had found it, it was good.

An easy ten minute stroll from the station, five minutes to the nearest vaporetto, and located in a street bustling with cafes and fruit and other stands, this is a great place for budget travellers. The rooms are spacious by European standards, serviced daily and, although lacking air-conditioning, provided with effective, if somewhat noisy, pedestal fans. The desk is manned 24 hours a day and reception are cheerful, helpful and English speaking. Continental breakfast is served in an annexe to a beautiful old room, dominated by a magnificent chandelier, part of the original building. An enjoyable visit.

Perfect location. I have been in this hotel last year and came back this year because really appreciated it. Magnificent coffee just next to the door of the hotel as well a very good pizzeria. Definetly recommend. Just take a repelent for mosquitos as they are everywhere in Venice.
