The Arayaburi Boutique Resort is found at Samrong Bay located in the north of Koh Samui. It is only 5 kilometres from the Samui airport and 7 kilometres from the Chaweng Beach.

We stayed in this resort for 4 nights and overall were happy with our choice. The beach is very rocky and in my opinion unsuitable for swimming but the pool was very good. Food, service and cleanliness was relatively faultless and while the location was a little remote (20 mins from airport) they provided a cheap regular shuttle bus to Chaweng and the Airport.

The room is okay but the air-con is not cold enough and they have to put another fan to make the room cold. As for the restaurant, there are a lot of flies and the breakfast is lousy. Location wise is not advisable to stay cause there is no transport provided to chaweng or lamai. They charge 200 baht for 1 person per trip. Is expensive and there is no taxi pass by the area. End up renting a jeep for 800 baht per day to move around and is cheaper than taking hotel transport. Is really not value for money.
