clean, friendly - great location - short walk to everything.

Wish we could have stayed longer! Pool was closed, that was the only thing but the beach is a short walk away. I like that they provide ear plugs haha. And they do come in handy with it being right in the middle of Waikiki. The staff is by far what makes the hotel though. Thanks Aqua Wave Staff!

Great location with basic accommodations. Convenient for city bus/trolley stops. No amenities. Friendly and courteous staff. An aged facility in need of some structural upgrades that would increase its appeal. Probably better for short stay (1 to 3 days) vs 1 week or longer.

When we checked in, we were told that they had sold out of the stardard room we reserved.......they gave us a suite with 3 queen sized beds and one of them in a separate space!! Everything was better than expected! Perfect location with walking distance to shops/restaurants. Will definitely stay there again.

The location is so convenient and easy access to local transportations, walking distance to everywhere: Waikiki beach, shops, restaurants, and many attractions. They gave us a junior suite which was very spacious with two beds. I was aware of the noise of the hotel, and sure it was. The ear plug did not work, and had sleepless nights in Honolulu.
