Location
The hotel is uniquely situated at a few steps from the archaeological sight, known as Regina Viarium. It is conveniently located five kilometres from the Ciampino Airport, seven kilometres from the centre of Rome and a kilometre from the Acqua Santa Golf Course.

Restaurant

My husbannd and I spent 2 nights here recently. At first we were given a room on the 1st floor and it smelt of stale cigarettes. They changed us straight away and after that we had no problems at all. It would be nice if the 664 bus timetable were displayed in hotel. It is a long walk to Colle Albani (to the underground). I would stay here again.

I thought that the hotel would be too far away from the city centre but the transport system costing only 1 euro for a trip or 4 euro for unlimited daily travel is superb and it takes just 20/25mins to the main terminus,with easy onward access.The hotel staff were very welcoming and full of information(also check out the monthly whats on guide)the room was of medium to large size very clean comfortable,breakfast was also plentiful coffee strong and hot.All in all an exceptional hotel at this price we will certainly stay again.

Well organised and helpful staff - nice atmosphere and clean rooms. Good public transport, only 1/2hr from the centre of Rome. Remember to buy your ticket before catching the bus - for 1 euro you can travel by bus, tram or train for 75mins - great value!

I usually use Appia Park Hotel several times a year for leaving from Ciampino the next day. It is situated on the way to Ciampino, but a bit out of the center. Always pleasant and quiet stay. Single rooms are a bit small. Well decorated, spacious, good breakfasts.

Decent hotel close to the highway and to southern Rome main roads. Regular rooms are quite small but with acceptable features. It is a good option if you are not looking for luxury and have your own car, which can be parked free of charge in the undergroung hotel parking space.
