Antea Hotel Guest Reviews
The staff at Antea Hotel were amazing! They were very helpful and accommodating! I was however, very disappointed with the condition of the room. There was mold on the wall/ceiling. The beds were VERY uncomfortable and the shower was terrible (went from hot to cold in seconds and the pressure fluctuated significantly as well). In terms of value for my money I was not impressed. The location is fantastic - within walking distance to most of the tourist attractions in the old City; therefore, I think that was some significant upgrades and remodeling, Antea could be a great place to stay. Until that happens, I would unfortunately rate this hotel a 2 out of 5.

The hotel to our surprise is definitely not 4 star as rated on Hotelclun. The facilities are pretty old and in bad condition; the rooms are pretty small. The photos on hotelclub looks a lot nicer than it really is. We are very disappointed. The service of the hotel staff is not good either. We specified that we want queen bedding for the two nights we stay, but the first night the hotel only offer two single bedding in a very small room. I would not recommend to stay at the hotel.

I never been in such a lousy hotel.First when we came to a hotel we asked for the transfer shuttle bus the way back,they gave us one price,the day we left the price was different.The first morning in the breakfast room there was no bread,no milk some salami,no yogurts. I will return to Istanbul ,but never again stayed in this hotel,the only good thing is position.

Great breakfast at this little spot near the grand bazaar, probably the best turkish coffee in istanbul. Rooms are small, bathrooms are tiny. The staff are extremely friendly & helpful. You can walk to all the major sites in Istanbul from here.

The location of the hotel is excellent. All the major tourist attractions are within walking distance (we are talking about 100-200 meters away from the hotel). It is located right in the heart of the old city. You can easily find everything, food, souvenirs and etc. The receptionists are very helpful. Anyway, the facilities are old and not as beautiful as in the website. All in all, it is quite a decent hotel if you don't really care about the room.
