bathrooms a little tired, grotty grout etc which you do not expect for the price, otherwise nice resort with exotic photogenic grounds and a big pool to relax by. a little out of town - hourly shuttle bus often full so you need to take a taxi but that's not really any problem. hua hin's beaches are far from impressive - if they were in Australia no-one would visit them ... but the pool is nice. all in all a very nice resort with great friendly staff well deserving of tips and not demanding them.

Anantara Hua Hin had been voted several years in row #1 or #2 as `Best Resort in Asia". It is beatifully designed and in fact a Botanical Garden with plants and trees from all over the world. Very nicely arranged with lakes and wonderful decoration everywhere. Located on a beach and offering two more pools it appears to be really big. Restaurants are good too. A great experience I would definitely repeat.

This hotel is fabulous. Hua Hin beaches aren''t that great (the sand is on the brown side and the water is slightly murky), but the facilities of the Anantara more than make up for this. When inside, you will feel transported to a whole different world, where great landscaping, thai architecture and service go hand in hand. Kids will love the pool with playful clay turtles and fishes, while adults will love the infinity pool harboring on to the lagoon. The Mandara spa is also worth a try.

Very beautiful setting with beautiful garden and even more beautiful swimming pool. Room types differ a lot from each other. We upgraded to a lagoon view room for 3 nights and stayed in a "garden view" for the other days. Lagoon view: Very large, airy and luxurious. Garden view: Small, well equipped but view only of the walkway. Surcharge for lagoon view of Baht 2''000.- per night was a fair value. Restaurants: Wide selection of Western and Thai food. High quality of food & service. Very extensive buffets. (Baht 790 to 1000 ++) Only negative comment: Beach not useable due to jelly fish. Customers: Families & couples. Mainly from Germany and UK.
