Very close to convention center - our destination and also short walk to Disneyland and Downtown Disney. Good food at reasonable prices in hotel and bar and had a trio that was outstanding on the patio after 7:00. Several other restaurants almost adjacent to hotel. Parking was $12.00 per day plus tax and small fee - could have done without that..

I stayed at the hotel the 14-16 of Oct for a trip to Disneyland. The last day I wanted to go to Disneyland for a few hours before driving back home. I asked the lady at the front desk what the policy was for parking, how long did we have. I was told it expires at noon. I asked what happens after that cause I wanted to go to Disneyland for a few hours before going home. I was told cars will be towed. I then called from my room if they could recommend a place to park and I was told "oh you can stay here, it just costs another days parking fee" I went down to pay and the same lady, (all three times) looked at me and said to wait she had to ask a manager and I was then told no it was too full. At this point I became angry but left. How was I not offered parking when I asked the first time, why over the phone was I told it was ok, then once again in person told no. I almost feel as if it was racially motivated. I am a young Hispanic male. I was dressed in shorts and a t-shirt. I work in LE and I am in the military. I am not covered in tattoos. I keep a general unimpressive appearance. Yet in person I was treated different then when I called from the room.

The staff at the Anabella Hotel was very nice, however the food at the restaurant and service was very poor. Food was prepared very badly, toast not toasted (cold), asked for coffee several times we were told they would get it right away but not until we asked for the 4th time. Got overcharged on the check... items added we did not have. The worst part of the stay was that on our last nite a very large cockroach ran into the bathroom and my husband had to use the ice-bucket to trap it. At that point I figured I had better check my luggage very closely so as to not bring any home with me. Upon departure my husband told the front desk person and all she said was that she was sorry. Needless to say I am never going back there again.
