Anabella Hotel Anaheim

The staff were very welcoming and allowed us to park our car at the hotel at 11am on the day we were to check in. Although our room wasn't available until after 4pm, they were happy to store our luggage. We then walked about 15 minutes to Disneyland and spent the bulk of the day there. It certainly wasn't a difficult walk - and we are in our mid fifties! When we returned, our keys were ready for pick up and our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. They did not charge us for parking as this was included in our deal and internet was free in the business centre. A hot breakfast was included, although it took some time to serve us. We would certainly stay there again.

For value for money this hotel is close to Disneyland and is hat you pay for. He'd to return to lobby numerous times to have problems fixed (which were fixed) Got a bad room - near unloading spot for trucks, where most traffic passes and door constantly would not open. Would stay there again - but in different room.

From the moment I arrived the hotel staff was very nice. They are available for restaurant recommendations, best way to travel and preparing flight information.

The pictures seemed a bit deceiving. Rooms were small and dated. The hotel was very noisy, you could here other hotel guests in their rooms.

Comfortable beds with nice bedding. Less then a mile to Disney, we walked. Most staff very pleasant and helpful. Morning front desk people need an attitude adjustment. There was one lady who was snotty, rude and made things worse when needing help. Staff smoking by our room was a little annoying. Overall a good experience.

Very close to convention center - our destination and also short walk to Disneyland and Downtown Disney. Good food at reasonable prices in hotel and bar and had a trio that was outstanding on the patio after 7:00. Several other restaurants almost adjacent to hotel. Parking was $12.00 per day plus tax and small fee - could have done without that..

I stayed at the hotel the 14-16 of Oct for a trip to Disneyland. The last day I wanted to go to Disneyland for a few hours before driving back home. I asked the lady at the front desk what the policy was for parking, how long did we have. I was told it expires at noon. I asked what happens after that cause I wanted to go to Disneyland for a few hours before going home. I was told cars will be towed. I then called from my room if they could recommend a place to park and I was told "oh you can stay here, it just costs another days parking fee" I went down to pay and the same lady, (all three times) looked at me and said to wait she had to ask a manager and I was then told no it was too full. At this point I became angry but left. How was I not offered parking when I asked the first time, why over the phone was I told it was ok, then once again in person told no. I almost feel as if it was racially motivated. I am a young Hispanic male. I was dressed in shorts and a t-shirt. I work in LE and I am in the military. I am not covered in tattoos. I keep a general unimpressive appearance. Yet in person I was treated different then when I called from the room.

The staff at the Anabella Hotel was very nice, however the food at the restaurant and service was very poor. Food was prepared very badly, toast not toasted (cold), asked for coffee several times we were told they would get it right away but not until we asked for the 4th time. Got overcharged on the check... items added we did not have. The worst part of the stay was that on our last nite a very large cockroach ran into the bathroom and my husband had to use the ice-bucket to trap it. At that point I figured I had better check my luggage very closely so as to not bring any home with me. Upon departure my husband told the front desk person and all she said was that she was sorry. Needless to say I am never going back there again.

Loved the proximity to Disneyland, an easy 10 min walk via Grand California lobby. The pool and jacuzi was inviting and both adult and kid friendly. Beds super comfy. The only downfall was they wanted an extra $25 to supply the sleeper couch with sheets, My daughter didn't want to share a bed one night. We enjoyed the food at the Tangerine Grill and the bar service which was easy to take to the pool

Overpriced, poor quality, poor staff, better off at any of the surrounding hotels. Not sure if they have a deal with Orbitz or if there staff has made reviews but there is no way this is a 4star location. Hotel is more of a 1star motel, photos and details are misleading, if they have rooms like the ones pictured they are nothing like you will get. If you book with orbitz they will not accommodate. We arrived late on a Thursday night no valet, not a big deal. Check in was fast easy, we were given a treasure map to find our room. Upon opening door light switch did not work, tripped over bed to find lamp. Room was by far the smallest room I have ever seen, bed was tucked in corner and you could not make your way around sides do to wall on one side and giant window ac unit on other. No furniture other then bed and TV& stand and a small fridge. TV was from the 80's probably a 25 inch. Bathroom was the only thing that had seen updates in last 20 years and that was just granite counter tops. Wall paper was falling off, tried to close blinds and knob to close fell off. Windows were left open to get the smell out im guessing which brought temp to about 55 degrees. There were about 6 holes in ceiling for some unknown reason, carpet stains broken or chipped cheap I mean cheap furnishings. We were in room for 5 minutes called front desk was left on hold for 15 minutes we were willing to pay more for a better room. After fifteen minutes we carried luggage down stairs again, loaded car and went to Hilton convention center. Greeted with smiles and given a Disney park view king room for 20 dollars less a night then we were paying and the Annabel motel. Called orbitz before cancellation deadline informed them of situation, they contacted the Annabel motel which refused to issue refund. In short I paid for two hotel rooms because I trusted Orbitz Star rating of this hotel. This is the first time I have ever complained I work in the travel industry I know people can be picky but this was grossly misleading if I wanted cheap I would have stayed at any of the lower cost chain motels and would have gotten what I paid for. Check other travel sites information on this hotel.

Room was clean, tidy, and unique. We walked to and from Disneyland, which was easier than expected. We have stayed at numerous other hotels within walking distance of Disneyland and have been most impressed with the look, feel, and tidiness of The Annabella. The downside: Other hotels provide a free continental breakfast, but the Annabella does not. We will stay here again next time.

Everything cost extras at this hotel. Parking is $12 a day plus fees. That totaled to $28 plus for 2 nights. The queen beds are actually full size. The rooms are much too small. For the amount they charge extra for parking, I would stay at super 8 with real queen beds and bigger room and continental breakfast. Use the parking and the extra money you saved by not staying at this place to drive to the park instead. Would never stay here again.

1)The room was way too small for 4 people, and not as pictured. 2)The pullout bed uncomfortable. 3)The towel holder in the shower was very rusty (getting the idea?). 4)Tremendous banging noise coming thru the walls and ceiling from other guests and the maid service. 5)The attached restaurant (food) was terrible and, of course, overpriced. We had one meal and wouldn't even go back for breakfast. 6) Our card keys would just stop working so we had to go back to the desk twice to have them remade - oh, and when my son tried to tell the person at the desk, she blamed it on the locks - but his card wouldn't work at the pool or exercise room, or our room either - so obviously NOT the locks. If the rating on this hotel was 2 stars and I stayed there, I wouldn't have been so dissapointed, but when you're told 4-Stars and get this, well, I'm not pleased. There was a really nice doorman named Mike, though; very friendly.

Room was very clean and nicely decorated. Parking was a bit difficult for handicapped, but not impossible. With four adults in the room, a separation of the bathroom would have been easier. Maybe they do have such rooms, but this was close to the elevator. With 2 handicapped scooters to deal with, being close to the elevator was more important. Would like to have had a microwave for popcorn, or a place in the hotel with one accessible. They did have a small refrigerator that really came in handy. One of the best hotels I stayed in or near Disneyland. Would definitely stay there again.
