Beach, Ocean, Activities, View is perfect!!! Just Amenities are not much we expected. (only Shampoo and conditioner, and body lotion). And staffs are very kind and warm, but too slow (may not only this hotel).

Everything was fine untill the famous cyclone Evan. We were evacuated a night before from the island without being booked at altenate hotel on main land or any refund . Had to find accommodation which cost us a fortune at last minute. It's a beautiful place but no responsibility taken.

this place is great if you have lots of money to spend, otherwise you'll just get bored. food is not great and the price is even worse. the majority of the staff are really nice. grog is expensive. and watch out for the ground staff spraying maldison with a blower, this is a very nastie chemical (insecticide) and they spray it two or three times a day, i only know it and know the smell because i use it at my work.

Amunuca has fantastic people, a beach that is as good as they come, and is far enough away from things to provide a real holiday. If you are looking to have a holiday where the people are friendly, helpful and really go out of their way to make you feel welcome - this is the place to be! Bill, Bill, Abo, Mili, Meme, Lena, Asenuca......and all the others who were so wonderful - thank you all very much. You made our holiday great!! Vinaka vakalevu and Kia ora!!

We had a wonderful time in Amunuca! We stayed at three places in Fiji during our vacation. Radisson Blu, Amunuca, and the Intercontinental. Although the rooms, food, and the pool were not comparable to Intercontinental or Radisson, the resort location and cultural education was by far the best at Amunuca. Interestingly, our best memories of our Fiji trip and the locals were from Amunuca. It is a small island, so I do not recommend more than a 3 to 4 night stay. However, try to include it as a escape from the larger hotels on the island.

Maybe we should have expected this because of the low price, but this place was run down and completely lacked atmosphere. We understood from the neighbours at Tokoriki resort that it has changed owners and since then went downhill. The pool is very small with too few beds and little shade. The food was greasy and uninspired. The beach bures were OK, the other ones way too small.

This Hotel was exactly what we were looking for to wind down. Not too big that you are just a number and not too small that you can get away if you want too. (to the beach that hardly anyone uses). The pool is small and if the resort was full there would not be enough room for everyone. But when we were there it wasn't a problem. The employees are friendly but not overly so. The food was good but not outstanding. We didn't eat breakfast but ate lunch by the pool. The main restaurant only serves a pri fixe meal. Lunches were good. The snorkel trip we went on was fantastic and pretty reasonable for the price. Peter was great on getting the coconuts from the tree and cracking them open. The Hotel is being fixed up and you can see the effort. Rooms were impeccably clean. A little tight when we were both in the room but we tried not to be. On the whole would go back in a heart beat. Extremely relaxing.
