Amora Hotel Riverwalk Melbourne Guest Reviews
Previously enjoyed Amora, so as all action for 3 days was in that vacinity - worked perfect. Nice and quiet. everything was first class for the hotel rating itself. Only thing - felt that as setting is so nice - the lawns in the surrounds which I assume hotel responsibilty could have been mowed - especially as 250 dining for Xmas lunch. So handy with train stop outside to go into city. and service by cabs excellent to hotel. - so obviously have a relationship VALUE FOR MONEY

Great location for visiting MCG or shopping and also good food eateries in Bridge Road. We stayed here as the rates offered were good and it was close to all the things we wished to visit. Staff were friendly and hotel has good undercover parking in basement. Felt the food in the restsursnt was overpriced for evening meal menu.

Amora Hotel is located only a short distance from the Melbourne CBD and in close proximity to popular fashion and restaurant areas of Richmond, Kew and South Yarra, and the MCG. Pleasant walkways and parks adjoin the hotel. Public transport, right outside the hotel, by modern electric tramway is excellent and prepaid tickets are available from reception. All staff were most helpful, courteous and attentive to ensure we enjoyed our stay. Service was excellent and facilities were first class. The discounted room rate available through Hotel Club represented excellent value and we will certainly be returning.

Enjoyed staying at the Amora with lovely room, food and tram 75 from Spencer St right outside the door. However did find after hours (10.30pm on a Friday night!) instructions on how to enter the hotel confusing for a stranger- not so happy wandering around a big hotel looking for an entrance that was open. Would be pleased if they provided clear map or directions and not just enter off a certain street especially as they encourage footy fans to stay there and should know we don't get in after a night game until at least 10.30pm. Another minor annoyance (petty really) is that no complimentart water is provided. You pay for the bottle by their bedside and need to read the attachment to know it's not free. Having said all this I would still recommend this hotel.

A great place to stay in Melbourne close to the CBD, sporting venues with good tram access.
