Location
Amora Beach Resort Phuket is magnificently set right on the Bang Tao Beach, surrounded by coconut palms and casuarinas facing the beachfront. The resort is located 20 minutes from the airport and 25 minutes from Phuket Town.
Rooms
The resort has comfortable rooms that are well furnished and equipped with modern amenities. In addition, the low-rise guest rooms offer views of the gardens or swimming pools.
Restaurant
Offering international and Thai cuisine, the outdoor terrace provides picturesque views over the garden and pool area. You can also dine at the Thai restaurant, which overlooks the sea and provides delicious Thai cuisine and fresh seafood. In addition, the onsite pool bars offer a wide range of light meals, refreshing drinks and a selection of delicious cocktails.

The new Bang Tao Room has been designed to cater for a variety of functions, conferences and special events. The room can accommodate up to 120 people for banquets, receptions, theatre or classroom style meetings and cocktail functions in a traditional Thai setting.

A strong smell in the room. Perfect location close to the beach.

It was a nice hotel, the room was quite big and clean, unfortunately it was very spread out and it seemed like we were at one of the furtherest rooms, with no lift. It was ok, but after staying at another hotel in phi phi which is was thrilled with I had higher expectations. The lady at the tour counter was very helpful. The cost of the internet was daylight robbery compared to other hotels.

Not bad for family stay, we got the rooms by the children pool. So it was excellent.

For value for money this hotel rates highly. Why pay twice as much in a five star hotel 500 meters down the beach when you can enjoy this hotel. OK it is not as luxurious but it has the same facilities as those and is on the same beach. Mostly Germans and Russian guests which meant an early start if you wanted a sunbed ! The hotel is friendly and has character and the surrounding beach and facilities are first class. A real bargain if you are not fussed about having plasma TV's and two sinks in your bathroom !

There are two Thai eating places on the beach near the hotel. The adjoining resort Sunwings has a small mini market in the lobby. The nearest bank is three to four kilometres from the resort. Other shops are located about one and one half kilometres to the south. Ideal as a place for relaxation.
