Americas Best Value Inn Las Vegas
4 out of 5

First of all, my room was clean. Also, the staff was very good. When I checked in, the wifi in my room didn't work so they switched me immediately to a different room. The location is absolutely perfect, right across the street from the MGM and close to the Tropicana, Luxor, Excalibur, and not too far from the new mall which is next to the Monte Carlo. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and the price is unbeatable.,

It was an average stay, a typical budget motel. One thing I didn't like was that the mattress was not good, need to replace them, no sleep at all.

My family and I left approximately 20 minutes after checking into this hotel room! It was so dirty and disgusting, I felt itchy just sitting in the room. There was a yappy dog in the room next to us. And, what threw it over the edge was the cockroach in the bathtub! I will NEVER stay here again and I will definitely be more discerning of America's Best Value Inn in the future.

Location of the hotel is very good, it's only 10 min away by walking to the city center and all the hotels and casinos. The hotel is in a quiet area so there is not too much noise outside. For those who are planning not to spend so much time in the hotel and spending time visiting Vegas day and night, this hotel is perfect.

I loved that COCO's Restaurant is right at the front of the hotel. Fantastic restaurant with fantastic staff!!!! I love their steak and prime rib! And their great breakfast! One of the staff is a fellow Filipino who made my stay in Vegas very pleasant! The hotel itself is not a highlight. When in Vegas, it's still worthwhile bargain-hunting among the great 4-5 star hotels there....

This hotel is not a 5 star by all means. It is though very close to everything on the strip. It is very safe to work to any hotel or resort on the strip. Right across the street to the MGM. It is a very old hotel and the rooms show it, but they keep it nice and clean.

We mainly used this hotel to sleep at night. We were in town for a huge Hip Hop Competition at another hotel. It was a satisfactory experience. [...], the room was very inexpensive and to me it lived up to the cost. The room wasnt very big or beautiful, but it was very functional for sleeping and showering. The only negative to me was that the shower water wouldnt stay warm. It kept going ice cold in the middle of my showers. no fun. For the price... it was worth it to me. its also very close to the strip and the airport.

I was there for a few days for work. It was a very small room. Very clean, friendly front desk staff. All we really did was sleep in the room. If I wanted a big room with all the amenities then I would have paid more at the other places.

Visited the museum, choc factory and other attractions on the strip. Motel was OK - the first room had a plugged sink. I went to the front desk and asked for another room. The wall was thin - you can hear all your neighbors conversation. Good value for location.

Came in on Sunday of Memorial Day weekend. Prices overpriced. But, that's the holiday. For a regular night or weekend night, it is worth it as the location is just a block off the strip by Topicana and MGM. It's where I always stay when I come in to Vegas on a weekend night.

I decided to cheap out on the hotel and stay there and that was a huge mistake. The property itself was well kept nice staff. But the room wreaked of mold not q light smell either. They were sold out and were unable to move me. The gave me a spray and sent me on my way. I was furious. Luckily I had friends staying close by and ended up staying with them. Room 177 was disgusting.

The reception service at the hotel varied depending on the attendant. One staff member in particular was very rude and not very communicative/helpful. We assumed that we had a kitchen in the room (as mentioned in description). This meant a microwave and fridge - nothing else! We therefore couldn't have meals in the room. However there is a great diner in front of the hotel - Cocos that provided great service and food. Hotel in a great location and the room was clean.

Not bad for a budget hotel. Walking distance to MGM Grand, with the basic facilities like swimming pool and ice making machine.

I had a pleasant stay at this Hotel, which is quite close to MGM Grand and the strip. Staff were very helpful, though the Security boxes were all being used. A decent room with TV, and good adequate facilities. Room cleaned every day. The Poolside was great for lying out and not busy like the big Hotels. I had no problems and would stay there again.

If you are travelling on a budget, or are in Las Vegas on the days when the price of rooms in the bigger hotels are at a premium this a great place to stay. Ideally located on East Tropicana Avenue (opposite the MGM Grand) you are right at the centre of the action. We had two rooms booked for a total of seven people, and everybody agreed that the rooms were well up to standard and very clean. The hotel is easy to find espically if you have just arrived at the airport. The airline that flew us to Las Vegas managed to smash two bags. They said they would deliver new ones to the hotel, and when we checked the next morning the receptionist had safely stored them, and they also disposed of the old ones for us without any fuss. I would stay at this hotel again, the price and the location is great.
