Americas Best Value Inn Berkeley San Francisco Guest Reviews
When I reserved for this place, there was no mention of the pet fee so I got a surprise upon checkout. While I'm grateful they allow pets, they shouldn't charge $10/night unless there's a mess left behind. A refundable deposit would be more appropriate.

the hotel is clean and located conveniently. Unfortunately I had to wait in the parking lot for an hour to check in the evening I arrived, after having traveled all day. The office was closed, no one answered the phone and the customer service from the National chain AND Orbitz were unhelpful. I was very upset considering I'd pre- paid for my reservation and was unable to check in at 9 pm when I arrived and the office was inexplicably closed.
