My husband and I booked this hotel on the beach in Panama City, FL as one last getaway with our 3 kids before school starts. I wasn't expecting an upscale resort but even my low expectations were not met. When we arrived, our reservation was not kept and we were informed they were "booked up" and would have to see if they could find us a place to stay. (along with at least one other couple that were also waiting because their room had also been given away) They eventually opened up a previously closed room for my family. It didn't include the options that were outlined on the reservation, but we were just happy to be able to unpack and begin our vacation. From some of the reviews I read I was expecting some disrepair, but the entire hotel was in desperate need of repairs...especially our room. The lights didn't work, the air conditioner sounded like an airplane was landing in our room and we had trouble getting the door to lock (all probably reasons for why it was not open for booking in the first place). The beds felt as if we were sleeping directly on the box springs and I would suggest bringing your own sheets and blankets. The walls are paper thin so we were able to hear EVERYTHING our neighbors said/did. And the worst part was parking. The extremely undersized parking lot is shared by a neighboring restaurant and stays filled up all hours of day and night. We had to park down the street and walk down the busy road with our kids. BUT, even with all the hassle and disappointment, this was by far the cheapest hotel we could find that was located directly on the beach and most of the staff was nice. So, if you don't plan to spend much time in your room or can look past the dirt and needed repairs, then why not jump on a super cheap room. My family won't be returning here, but anyone who just needs a place to keep their stuff and crash after a long day on the beach would find a great deal here. Just keep in mind that parking is horrible and call a few days in advance to make sure they have your reservation on file. Wherever you choose to stay, I hope you have a great time.

The hotel was situated in a nice location. The beds were uncomfortable but overall the stay was very nice. I was apprehensive after reading the reviews but I would stay again. The hotel did run out of wash cloths but it is understandable. I must have stayed in the room with the carpet that was mildewd but I had a large piece of plastic to cover the wet spot and it also masked the smell.

I booked two rooms which were both not bad for the price considering it's right on front of the beach. There are some stuffs about the room that could be improved though. The bath tub's drain doesn't hold up by itself so it fills up pretty fast an have to manually hold the drain cover up for the water to drain. The light in the bathroom most of the time is broken. We have to turn it on and off several times for it to turn on again. We ended up just leaving it on the whole time we were there. They have very limited parking space especially during dinner time since it's right beside Sharky's. We walked to Pier park which is a little over a mile I think and I highly recommend just bringing a car. The room also could've been better if there was a refrigerator considering the heat. We have a baby with us and the milk that we have got spoiled. As I said, it's not bad for the price if all you wanted is to spend time t beach.

I would never stay here again. I feel like the add was false as far as the amenities. Their parking lot is only about 30-35 spaces and it is shared with another hotel and a very busy resturant!!! So additional parking is down the street....NOT across the street....My daughter was 6 months pregnant and we should not have had to compete for parking with a resturant. And one day the power went out...just at our hotel. The pool was by the road and not the ocean. You have to request clean towel everyday if you want them. It was just a horrible experience!!

The hotel was alright for the price; however, the pictures on the website were highly misleading. The beach chairs were not included with the room, and the parking lot was significantly smaller than it appeared. Also, the breakfast buffet that was mentioned was not being offered. All in all the hotel was quite, especially for the amount of children that were staying there. The room was fine, but bring your own shampoo and conditioner. Beautiful view from the patio and the beach and water were great!
