AmericInn Of Bloomington East Guest Reviews
The hotels computers were down so we couldnt check in 1/2hr after check in time. The guy at the desk was rude and very unprofessional! They never called us after we ask them too, to let us know when or if we could check in later in the afternoon. Keep in mind that we already paid and comfirmed online to this hotel. We got back t the hotel about 10:30pm after all the activities that we had planned were over, they said that they manual figured out what rooms has people in them and not. They told us to that booking online was not a good thing to do? Well I'm sorry but I dont know the area and had to search online in the area we were going to be. Think twice on staying hear!

We were told by Orbitz when they made the reservation that they had a shuttle to the airport . They then sent a taxi that cost $16.00. Very disappointing

I have never been treated like a third class citizen during a hotel stay until now. I travel a lot and I always book thru Orbitz. This hotel refuses to give you a receipt of any kind and claims that it gets emailed (not so). They claim everything goes thru corporate and that they cannot control room assignments or receipts. I was assigned a room next to the elevator and had to put up with the bell ringing constantly. When I asked for a different room, I was told since I booked online, that's the room I was assigned and they wouldn't change it. My cell phone was stolen on this trip and I had to use the room phone for business. They wouldn't set up voice mail and wouldn't turn on the flasher to let me know I had a message waiting at the desk. These folks really need some customer service training. Their wireless internet is discontinuous every 5 min and there is no option for ethernet in the single rooms. This is also not a great place to stay if you don't have a vehicle. There are restaurants and a Walmart within walking distance but the roads are not very safe. The "shuttle" is a private taxi, of not the cleanest variety. Overall, I could have stayed at the Comfort Inn across the highway for about the same price. My companions who stayed there did not have any of the problems that I encountered. Don't stay here if you are on business!

Road tripped with son and his buddy. Hotel is right off the freeway; less than 1 mile from the pool. Nice breakfast; clean, comfortable rooms; friendly, helpful staff--made for a very nice getaway

Nice staff, hotel and place to stay. We only stayed one night, got there late, left early in the morning. Breakfast was not the best but it was OK. Would stay again.
