Location
Its position makes the Ambassador an ideal choice for guest wanting to explore Zurich on foot. It is minutes away from the old town and many of the most popular attractions such as Grossmunster, Fraumunster and St Peter's church. For guests arriving by train Zurich's main railway station is just over a kilometre away and the airport twelve kilometres away.
Rooms
All forty five elegant rooms at the Ambassador are comfortable with luxury mattresses and electronically adjustable beds. Features include wireless Internet access, satellite TV, tea and coffee making facilities, and sound proofed windows.
Restaurant
The Hotel's restaurant, the a l'Opera serves first class dishes of traditional Swiss cuisine. Guests are treated to a sumptuous buffet breakfast with everything from champagne, scrambled egg and bacon, to a typical continental choice.

Particularly well located. However, the internet in the room is awkward to operate. The sister hotel across the road has free access which guests of the Ambassador may use.

A well run hotel in a useful location. Pleasant room; nice to have comfortable seating area. Excellent front desk staff. Buffet breakfast unexciting even though champagne was available.
