It has more than what I though about it.

Fabulous location up in the hills - views stunning. Food good but dining room had a very much a package holiday feel - could easily be improved. Rooms good, bathroom a bit tired, balcony furniture practically none existant - just folding hard back chairs, such a pity as the views are so god you just want to sit out there and enjoy it. Transport organised by hotel very overpriced - transfer to airport $110 we paid $55. Would definately recommend for location alone.

We just loved the Amaya Hills. The view from the beautiful terrace is breathtaking, the rooms are comfortable, the staff are endlessly helpful and kind. Particularly the ayurvedic doctor who anointed my daughters mosquito-bitten hand with such sweet gentleness and concern. Would recommend it to anyone traveling to Kandy. Our only reservation is that the swimming pool is very very cold!
