I have been staying at this hotel since 1997 and have to say that the hotel is a 5-star property located in the middle of all hustle and bustle of Bangkok. The best in Bangkok at a reasonable price ! ! !

This is a fantastic hotel, in downtown Bangkok, surrounded by markets and handy to public transport and many attractions. The facilities and service are 5 star, but the price is what you would pay for a 3-4 star hotel in many other cities. I only stayed for two nights, but I'll be back for a longer stay next time.

good location ,close to shopping and eateries.walking distance. breakfast nothing fantastic for the price paid taxis plenty but not honest so got to tell them to go by meter which is cheaper than their quote . would reccomend for family and seniors and shoppers.

Well situated - right across is Platinum Mall and to the left of the hotel is Pratanum market. Short taxi ride to MBK cost ard 50 baht (~2 USD), so its pretty reasonable. The pool area looks pretty nice as well, with a bar and gym nearby so the facilities looks pretty comprehensive. Room has all the necessities, i.e. nice, hot water, toothbrush etc. Beds was too high for my room at waist height (rly high, my gf had trouble climbing up), but my friend's roombeds are alright. Staff are polite and helpful - able to meet all requests such as adaptors, good knowledge of places we want to go and arranging for airport transfer. Overall, a good experience though the hotel is on the pricey side. Havent stayed at other hotels in BKK so I can't exactly comment on whether this is value for money relative to others.

Great location, a big hotel with great facilities, spa is nice, very clean, heaps of stuff in the immediate area, had a great stay but not cheap!
