Amari Rincome Chiang Mai

The hotel is about 10 minutes away from the city centre and the night Market but tuk tuk prices are reasonable.

A nice and peaceful colonial style hotel with a great pool and garden area. Excellent breakfast setting as always in Amari Hotels I have visited in.

Very good price for quality. Certainly one of the best in Chiang Mai! Staff is very professional, efficient and kind.

I was very disappointed. For the price I was paying, the hotel had no gym, far from the center of the city, expensive charges for internet, expensive charge for breakfast, charge for shuttle to night market. The room was old. There were so many other hotels in the city that were so much better and charges half less.

Not very well situated in relation to the night market but the area round the hotel is clearly improving and there are plenty of nice places to eat.

Hotel in a great location. Service needs to step up a bit but over all a good place to stay in CH if you do not need to be right downtime.

The service was amazing.. we booked on line and din't even ask for an airport pick up.. The hotel sent a driver with a van and in the van there were towels for us to clean our hands, flowers, water and candy. We were shocked as we got in late during the night. The room was large and spacious and so far on the 6 week Asia tour, the best room, hotel and service we have had especially at such a reasonable price. We would stay there again without hesitation. The food in the restuarant was terrific as well.. and the staff couldn't be more congenile. A must if you go to Chiang Mai...the only downside is that the internet in the room didn't work very well, but they gave us extra free time to make up for the inconvienence.

For the value this hotel can be highly recomended. Try to get rooms away from the busy road.

Overall a good value, although the hotel is far from the main city attractions. Service was excellent except at the breakfast restaurant which also offered less than average food at premium prices.

Staff was EXTREMELY warm and helpful. The room was a bit sparse (even though I paid for an upgrade to a deluxe room) and was also a bit dark.

Were I to return to Chiang Mai I would definitely consider returning here. Additionally, if someone is looking to purchase silks, and other handicrafts (other than the humdrum stuff they pawn off at the night market) there are several great shops on several of the streets flanking the hotel.

The bedroom furnishings are looking very "tired," the carpet was clean but stained, the bedspread was very faded and the net curtains had gone grey from white. The inpression is that a ''refit'' is due. The pool was very good and the gardens are lovely. The Italian restaurant (La Gritta) was magnificent. Transport into Chiang Mai (Tuk-Tuk) was easy, cheap and fast.

This is a nice, clean, but a little bit "seventies" hotel, with a good staff and comfortable rooms. It is nice that it is not in the middle of Chiang Mai.

The only redeeming feature of this hotel is the pool. I found the staff unhelpful and not concerned about their guests - they really only seem concerned about extracting every penny they can. Poor service, poor quality. I would never stay here again and urge others to do the same.

If you want to be within walking distance of the Night Market then this hotel is not for you. But then I''m not sure if that should be the main reason for picking a hotel in Chiang Mai (there are only so many trips to the Night Market before you OD). This hotel is a great value and is conveniently located for trips to the mountains.

The rooms need to be updated. The king size bed was just two twins pushed together and the mattress was two soft.
