Used this hotel primarily as a stopover before catching an outbound flight. Ok but a bit tired looking but newly refurbed bathroom. Generally average

Yes, it's in the suburb of Favaro Veneto, but we had 5 nights bed and breakfast during the Carnevale Maschere for less than what it would have cost for one night in Venice centre. A delightful family run hotel and without exception, every staff member was friendly and helpful. The room was quiet, spotless, spacious and airy with heating/air-conditioning, and the bathroom provided a hairdryer and a shower with great pressure and plenty of hot water. Continental breakfast consists of the usual choices accompanied by excellent coffee. The area is safe and residential, with a few shops and bars. Eating places are limited, although I can highly recommend 'Jungle Pizza' and the excellent 'America Bar Onde Rock' next door. Fair enough if you want to pay a fortune for a central hotel, but I'd prefer to spend the savings on daily expenses. So if you are looking for a friendly hotel which offers great value, and is located on good bus routes, then look no further than Hotel Altieri.

Although it is not located in Venice, it has good regular transport services nearby, which take you into Venice. No traffic noise in the room we had.

I stayed in this hotel in room 204. It was a single room but bigger than double.. Cleanliness was amazing.. facilities were enough like a 4 star hotel. Staff too helpfull and smiling.. you can expect the service of a 5 star hotel.. I would really ask everyone who wants to visit venice to have a stay in this hotel only for just one night. and I am sure You will love it... I would really rate it 10/10. If possible and available , I would love to go there again....Mohsin

Prices were very low! Service was warm and correct. The room was cleaned every day and there was nothing to complain. The bus stop was only few minutes walking.

Beautiful facility. Friendly , helpful lady on front desk. Very modern and clean. Only drawback is that it is so far away from the main part of Venice.

We had some trouble getting to the hotel from the train-station by bus. Our room was on the first floor and quite near to the reception desk. The sound from reception would echo into our corridor and room; the receptionist was very loud. The closet was broken (would not shut) and the doors had not been oiled since ages. The bed was nice and comfortable. Another weird thing about the room was that the air-vent was in the bathroom so we had to leave the bathroom door open to get the air circulation. The bathroom also smelled and the location of air-vent made it worse. One night we wanted some ice; the receptionist said that the ice was only if someone was sick. The breakfast was great .. lots of things, fruits and stuff. The bus to Venice made the stop right on the road so that was neat.

A very clean and pleasant hotel for a few days break visiting Venice,on a budget.Rooms fairly bland but ,good ,well equiped shower rooms.Good continental breakfast and very friendly and helpful reception. Main thing against is the lack of restaurants in the vicinity.Just two Pizza takeaways , which are very close by. Would recommend for a short stay.

Handy to take 20min bus ride into Venice. Rooms were adequate, got one with bathtub and one with shower only so ask if tub is important for you. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Would stay there again.

Close to Marco Polo airport but a fairly long bus ride from Venice itself. Helpful staff who spoke good English. Large clean room. One of the better 2-3 star hotels.

Though this hotel is 20 minutes by bus to Venice, the bus stop is just outside the hotel and is very convenient to Venice. I definitely recommend this hotel for any one planning to go to Venice. Buffet Breakfast is also very good. Totally, I will recommend this hotel to any one. A Pizzeria is also on the same road and make very good Italian Pizza for dinner.

spacious, clean room and bathroom. Good breakfast included. Hotel has lift as well. Down side is the location, far from Venice and also no much choice for food near-by.

Quiet area in the suburb. Friendly and very helpful English speaking stuff. Old furniture in acceptable shape, the bathroom is very good, the cleanness is excellent. Wide selection in breakfast included in reasonable room price.

Located in a suburb of Venice, the hotel is a 15 minutes bus ride from Santa Lucia. The area is very quite and the bus station is 50 metres away. We were pleased with the service, the rooms and the breakfast and all for a very fair price.

An ideal location close to Venice Airport with easy access to Venice, the bus stop is a few metres from the hotel. The staff were very helpful, the rooms spacious and clean. We had a great breakfast. The only negative comment would be the lack of places to eat in the evening if you wanted to stay close by.

Room was quite roomy, bathroom very good. Furniture/furnishings basic with old unmatched secondhand furniture for cupboards/table etc. Location was a long way from station but bus connection was okay. One reason we wanted to stay there was because we'd seen Venice a couple of times before, but wanted to go to Treviso which was not far away by bus and train and were glad we did as we loved Treviso. We were told that we could not get the free transfer to airport because it didn't go on Sundays and could have paid for the driver to come specially but got the bus from around corner to the airport which was acceptable. Breakfast was good as included in room price. Would stay there again if we needed to.

We were very pleased with the Altieri Hotel. Located in a suburb of Venice, it was easily accessible on the bus from the airport, the breakfast provided was more than substantial, it was quiet and very reasonable in price. Most of the front desk workers were very helpful and spoke English.
