What a disappointment this place was. A beautiful building totally let down by poor management. There is no tea/coffee facility in rooms, there is no mini fridge in rooms - very unpleasant when the temperature is high 30s and you want a cold drink. The air con in our room was ineffective and the room very hot over night. Food in restaurant was only average. Staff were generally friendly, however, on arrival there we were not welcomed. The whole place feels like it needs a good clean. The pool is ok. Location - seems to be in the light industrial area but you can walk to the pink city area easily. Were it called Fawlty Towers you wouldn't be surprised.
