A nice little hotel just by the seaside. The rooms are small but quite ok. The old town is about 1,5-2 km away but you walk straight om along the beach and thera are several buses, but not after 20.00.

The room with ensuite facilities was superbly clean. The windows opened fully which is something I appreciated as so many places I have stayed at previously have safety catches that only allow an inch or two. The location is right on the beach and could not be better. I wanted to do a Shirley Valentine and drink my wine on the beach overlooking the setting sun! However hunger won over romantics and I found a nearby resteraunt with good food at reasonable prices. My only fault was that I had hoped for an english tv channel which was not available.

Nice helpful owners. Hotel really situated next to the beach. Easy to find. No lift facility.

The lady running the hotel was very friendly and helpful, and at the price this hotel was good value. We had 2 rooms, both were quite old and weary (but what do you expect for this price!). Close to restaurants that were good. The reason I marked cleanliness down so harshly is because of the faint smell of stale urine from the bed which I noticed after being in the bed for a little while, very offputting which is a shame as otherwise I would have been very pleased with the hotel.

though far from the rail station, you can't go wrong with the fact this hotel's right on the beach...hearing the tide come and go as you drift to sleep...restaurants without the throng of tourists venturing to the old city (which is about a 30 minute walk from this hotel)...fresh mussels, salmon, scallops...a piece of heaven...
