I thought I got what I paid for. Couldn't find the control for the electric blanket talked about in the motel 'blurb' and you are not advised to keep the rather noisy electric 'pretend fire' going all night although you might wish to on a cold winters night. Staff did their best.

Stayed at the hotel whilst atedning a conference. Very old hotel. Clean none the less. Included continental breakfast which was handy. On the edge of the main New Market shopping area, however a fair distance from Auckland City.

I wanted a reasonably priced hotel to stay at a couple of nights. The hotel matched my expectations. I would stay here again.

Hotel is old and needs a revamp especially bathroom. bed could be better too. Other than that room was fine
