Great location. Great value if you aren't picky with the kind of hotel you stay at. Room is ok, breakfast not so great. Staff was very friendly. Perfect location - close to everything.

This hotel definitely leaves a lot to be desired. I've stayed here 4 times, simply for its proximity to Americasmart. You can't get much closer. But the hotel itself is old, with lots of problems. Most recently, my shower was cold, sink didn't drain well and balcony door was stuck open (in January). All of those things were fixed the next day with a call to the front desk, but still. If you can afford it, which I can't, stay somewhere else for the markets. If not, Days Inn will still suffice.

The hotel is definitely overprice for its value. I figure it being in downtown and paying higher i got a nice room and being at a nice hotel. The hotel was old and smelly. the room itself is the same. the hotel is disgusting. i didn't have a good night sleep.

True, my expectations weren't very high... surprisingly, what I got was unbeatable, before even mentioning the price! Unbelievably friendly staff, going out of their way to accommodate requests that were not covered. Everything worked, AC, heating, blasting internet... Only disadvantage is they don't have a restqaurant on the facility. Strongly recommended. Will be there next time

We went for a talent agent convention with our 11 year old daughter. The hotel was old and smelly. The exercise room was ALL broken! The iron also would not work. Staff was okay. We heard police sirens througout the night. Several people at the convention had had their cars broken into. We did not feel particularly safe. I would not stay there again.

I posted a previous review about my stay at the Days Inn Atlanta. After I read my review, I noticed so many typeooooo's, errors and sentence structure. And this was partly due to the poor lighting at this hotel--i just could not see well. I hope that this particular post is presented along with the original. I just did not want to appear as someone that did not care about the errors presented in a posting. Along with that, do not want to loose credibility in my experience.

Would stay at this hotel again when visiting Atlanta. It is not the most luxurious place I've ever stayed, but the price is right. After all--we needed a place to shower and sleep. We weren't going to live there. The rooms were clean, staff was helpful, the free breakfast helped the budget, location was near everything we wanted to visit, and the MARTA station was a short two block walk. My only gripe would be the parking fee. $15 a night seemed out of line for a parking spot outdoors on an unattended lot. We parked on the lot just beyond the hotel lot for $2.50 a night. Saved a bundle! If you intend to spend time in the fitness room forget it. Minimal equipment that has seen better days and the room was occupied by four unattended children under the age of ten the afternoon I checked things out.

Chose the hotel because of the proximity to GA Tech. Walked to Olympic Park and Ga Tech. Food within walking distance. Staff was OK. Had to pay for parking.

My husband and I were there on a vacation without the kids. Havent had one since our honeymoon. Hotel is very avarage. Definitely needs some updating. It has an old smell. Hotel staff was friendly though. Did not like having to pay $15 a day for parking, but very close to everything. I mean walking distance. If you are looking for atmosphere from your hotel this is definitely not the place for you. But if you are looking for a place to sleep and be close to everything at a reasonable price then this is a decent hotel. I looked up prices again and for the location and price I cant find a better deal. Like I said very basic but cant beat location!

Location is EXCELLENT. We walked to every destination we visited in Atlanta including Underground Atlanta, the hard rock cafe, the Georgia Dome, the Varsity and Gladys Night's Chicken and waffles. Literally 2 blocks from the aquarium, coke museum, Olympic park, and children's museum. Breakfast was pastries and bagels and cereal. Halls were very warm and the room took all night the first night to cool off. Pool was very nice, pool towels provided. Parking was a RIP OFF. They say it is $15 a day but chafed us $20 on top of what we paid for the room. So we basically paid what we could have paid for a trip o the Marriott where parking would have been FREE and was only a block or 2 away. Not to mention the parking was available to the public for $5 a day. We got seriously ROBBED. I wouldn't say not to stay here as we had an excellent time. But when booking your hotel keep in mind you are paying $20 a day on top of your room rate for parking.

WE never actually stayed in this hotel. I made the reservation3 weeks in advance [...]. We arrived to the hotel about6:00pm. I checked in and the lady at the front counter asked if I had asingle room Well, NO, my reservation stated 2 adults and 2 childrenwith 2 double beds for 2 nights. The 2 nights were paid for alreadytaken out of my credit card. She gave us the last room with 2 doublebeds. Hmmmm....that made me angry since I had the reservation and itwas paid for but I got the last room available with 2 double beds. Ok,well, we all went to the room and opened the door...the beds were allmessed up and towels were everywhere! I went back to the lady at thefront counter and told her our room was filthy and we needed anotherroom. She said she would have it cleaned. She and a man went into theroom and started cleaning. I guess We were outside the room the wholetime waiting on our room....I walked into the room while the man wasmaking beds and the room felt EXTRA HOT! I asked the man if he or thelady had turned on the air conditioner and he said no. It was runningbut NO COLD AIR. The temperature in Atlanta is in the 90s if not100s...with no air. I went BACK to the front counter and told the ladywed need another room since the room was super hot and the airconditioner did not work. She said she would call her manager. Well, the manager told her to tell us we would have to find another hotel forthe night. They had NO MORE ROOMS!!! WHAT THE HELL I had areservation and my family waiting to just relax in our room...this was atotal shock and the nightmare just began. The lady at the front countertold me the manager would credit my credit card and pay for one night ofour stay at another hotel. Well that made me feel better. She thenstarted calling around. She found one without a pool so I told her no,my kids are here for the pool. Then she found a Ramada Inn in Mariettafor us. Well, that was another drive but ok, fine. When we wereleaving I asked her about the free night and how that worked and hermanager came out and said NO, we dont do that! I said, well, she justtold me you would do that and now you are saying NO OH my gosh, I wasbeyond mad. It was now 8pm and we had to still drive to Marietta forour room that was not paid for. The manager told me she was creditingeverything back to my card including the fees for cancelling the room.ARE YOU FREAKING SERIOUS OH MY GOSH! It took all I had to just walkout. Other guests were asking us what happened so I told them and theywere shocked!!! I cant believe any big named chain would treat peoplelike this! I was so mad, embarrassed, tired and just felt like we didntmatter at all!!! I would like someone to contact me about this since Ihave no idea where this email will end up. Someone needs to takeresponsibility for this! Worst customer service EVER!!!!!

Staff was nice and helpful Free breakfast is a joke Empty restaurant has been sitting there for years This hotel is sold out for every convention that comes to town - why do they not update this hotel? The furniture in the rooms look like it's been there since 1982.

The location was perfect, and the rate was great, but that was it. Bed was ok and linens seemed clean, but downhill from there. Peeling wallpaper and mildew, stained carpets, just very run down. Walked through smokers to enter the building on more than one occasion.

I would like it if the hotel spend money to bring the hotel up todate with air that is always cold, it would cool for awhile, then stop cooling, the carpet needs to be replaced and so does the wallpaper the beds slept good, and the breakfast was good
