Architecture deserves the attention is has been getting in reviews - more so for the facilities than for the rooms; very relaxed atmosphere and friendly personnel; food is good but not outstanding - and too much on the sweet side in all dishes (as often on Bali)

It was a perfect hideaway and the famous pool was even more beautiful than it appears on pictures. Spa was good but it was a bit expensive, you can get cheap massage in downtown ubud. Romantic open-sky restaurant is perfect for couples. The staff was very friendly and professional. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The Chedi is a beautiful hill resort hotel in the Ubud hills surrounded by lush green fields. The hotel design is graciously Asian with 5 star service. Not your typical chain hotel (no matter how nice the chain). The only drawback is the lack of TVs in the room and the mosquitos! If you are looking for peace and luxury this is definitely the place to stay! Try the Chedi massage!

This location is not suitable for disabled people. It is high in the hills, and the hotel itself is built on a beautiful hillside. However, there are a lot of steps around the property, including down to the pool, which would make access difficult for disabled travellers. The room, although beautifully designed and with a gorgeous balcony and view, was quite small.
