The hotel is situated in a part of town about 2 km to the airport (taxi fare cost us E10.95 - which was expensive given the distance involved. Whilst it is possible to walk into the historical part of town - the hotel is situated in a run down area. All that being said the hotel itself was extremely welcoming, clean and the staff were very helpful. We stayed for one night - following 2 weeks in Tuscany and used the hotel as a stop off point before flying home. We would stay at this hotel again in the future but only for the same purpose - i.e. as a stop off point before flying home.

Very helpful and pleasant staff, good sized rooms and good breakfast buffet. Very comfortable stay.

Clean and very good quality/price ratio. Very friendly and helpful personnel who spoke great English. Really close to the station and just a stonethrow away from the city centre. Some nice restaurants in the area as well

Good hotel near the train station ( do not be put off by the area ). Room was a little dated but was reasonably spacious. Local restaurant recommended by reception was very good. Breakfast was normal continental fare. I would stay there again.

Nice hotel with good location but a bit noisy at night time as we were only a few doors up from reception. A very loud printer going at all hours of the night didn't help! The shower leaked all over the floor each time we used it and although it wasn't rectified they did give us extra towels. The breakfast is very basic and runs out if you don't get there early. All in all an adequate hotel.I suppose you get what you pay for
