Location
Situated in the heart of a typical Mediterranean landscape and surrounded by verdant hills and olive groves, the property is at the foot of the renowned Monti Pisani. The historic town of Lucca is only 5 kilometres away from the hotel. Previously a nineteenth century hunting lodge, the Albergo Villa Marta is today a modern hotel, offering contemporary facilities.

The price is high for what they offer.

Cute location and off the beaten track. If it wasn't for our automobile navigation system. we probably wouldn't have found the villa without calling them for directions. Our room was a decent size and very nicely decorated. The bathroom and shower were large (by European standards). The pool was clean and a bit cool in temperature yet refreshing after basking in the Tuscan sun. The staff is friendly and helpful. They recommended great local resturaunts for us. The hotel is about a 10 minute drive from the walled town center and a 30 minute drive from the beach town of Viarregio. Both Lucca and Viarregio are must sees. We would gladly stay at Albergo Villa Marta again!

A very friendly and professional service was provided by all staff at the hotel. Overall a very enjoyable stay with easy transport links to Lucca.
