Lots of charm and character. Tasteful furnishings and decor. Comfortable beds. A few minutes' walk from city centre, but nice quiet location. Exceptionally helpful staff. Free internet. Free parking. What more could we ask?

This was a lovely place to stay. Common areas very inviting and comfortable. Superb breakfast. Free parking. 5 minutes from main square of Evora.

For a city which is a nightmare of twisting alleyways; a hotel which is first left in throught he Porto Novo gate and 50m down the road was a blessing, especially as it had car parking. Most Evora hotels need you to park outside city gates and walk in - check guidebooks when booking. Hotel was cool clean very mediterranean (tiled floors, shutters) although shame no pool.
