Fantastic location for exploring Evora, i got no small pleasure upon first entering the hotel through main entrance from the heat of the day into the cool interior, up the slightly worn stone steps lined with clay pots bursting with green up to the balcony and reception. The hotel is an old Historic building, so it comes with all the character (and some of the problems) inherit of a building of it's age; so it's a little jaded in places and the old stairs might make you groan with your luggage but I think it makes up for it all with the helpful & welcoming staff, the excellent location and of course the price. Our room was a good size, clean, air-conditioned and comfortable, Parking out front was 4euro a day, breakfast between 8 and 10 was the typical bread, pastries, dairy and cold meat but was very tasty and the atmosphere was informal and relaxed. Recommended.

Wonderful location, right in the centre of Evora. Comfortable rooms, nice and warm in spite of the cold weather outside.
