After our flight got moved by 2 days due to the wednesday 10th october fogs in dubai, my partner and I had to checked in to this "hotel". The rooms are out dated, and the food provided is located at the food court of the shopping centre and the food is not even worth eating even though it was free. The first night of our stay was "o.k" however on our second night, the night before our 9am departure to the airport, at 12:10am we were disturbed by someone trying to enter our room. Luckly we had the chain lock on the door so the individual could not enter the room. Obviously, my partner and I were terrified so we rang reception who basically told us ok. Withing 10 minutes we had someone banging at our door and when my partner opened it, it was the duty manager and 2 conceirge staff standing at the door. The duty manager was yelling at the top of his voice, extremely rudely saying that we are not meant to be in the room and that there was an emeregency and we had to contact emirates asap. We were both in shock and speechless as the manager was screaming for fifteen minutes that we were not meant to be in the room and we had to leave now. We furusousily went downstairs to the reception to prove to him that our voucher from emirates entilled us to 2 nights stay as we could only departure on the 12th as there were no other available flights. Regardless of the hotel policies, the way the duty manager was abusing, screaming and accusing my partner and I at midnight was beyond disgusting. He could of asked us in the morning upon check out or politely ask us however he was humilating us and making us feel like criminals because his staff did not do their job properly and did not enter in the system that our voucher said two nights. We asked him if we could show him the voucher as we had to surrender it upon check in however he said it was in "accounts". As that was our only "evidence" that we were booked for 2 nights we asked to call emirates at 1am in the morning to get their verbal conformation (and ask them to refax the voucher) that we were entilled to the 2 night stay. Once emirates confirmed that we were not in the wrong, the manager did not once apologize and continued yelling. The abuse was so bad that I was in tears and so disgusted about his behaviour towards us, we just checked out on the spot as we didnt want to spend another 5 minutes getting abused despite our flight not being till 9am. Whatever the hotel policies are and whatever "confirmation" the duty manager required, does not justify waking up people at 12am, abusing, discriminating, yelling, humilating and making people feel like criminals. We still dont have any feedback from them who was trying to break into the room. Do not EVER stay in this hotel unless you want to be treated in disrespect. Your hotels customer service skills are extremely terrible, this sort of behaviour from a duty manager would never happen in other countries or in a 4 and above star hotel. Nothing justifies hotel staff treating their customers this way - nothing. To not even receive an apology that the duty manager was incorrect - that was the true judgement of his character.

nice clean hotel with good service. good value for money spent. i would return to stay again.

I liked this place, it is nice, rooms were all clean, service was nice, people were helpful. It also has a shopping mall and a food court downstairs which I found very helpful. If you need to find a taxi, go behind the petrol (gas) station and you can pick up the taxi there. If you ask the hotel staff to find one, they will try to make you hire their hotel limo service with is 2 times more expensive. You can find the taxi even during the pike times behind the petrol station next to this hotel. I am going back to Dubai in a month and plan to stay here again. -Ashfaq
