African Pride Melrose Arch Hotel Guest Reviews
Really enjoyed the location and the hotel

The staff are very friendly and welcoming and try to be of assistance when required. The one problem is that the menu in the restaurant has not changed in at least a month. There are no specials offered and if you are on business and regularly eating in the restaurant it becomes a bit boring. This is one point that would elevate the Service from 'good' to 'very good'.

Great stay in this hotel. It is quirky and cool. The room was great - with about 21 different lights, a bath in the room - but with curtains if you wanted privacy, candles lit around the bath at night, excellent shower and toilet are separate, big basin, nice African earth toiletries. We were going to Pilanesberg for the day and leaving at 3am so hotel organised the most fabulous take away brekky in cardboard briefcases!! Also gave us coffee in the lounge for 15 mins while we waited for our room - which was available at 9.30 am. Brekky other days was full a la carte and first class Great location in Melrose Square - super restaurants and bars you can walk to and feel safe in. Short taxi ride to shopping mall at Sandton. Lovely pool area with sala beds for shade, and little jars of sun cream. We loved it all
