This was our second visit to this fully self contained apartment hotel. The room was spacious and all the facilities we wanted to use worked. We had a one bedroom delux apartment which after an upgrade had an easterly facing room with a view over the city and sunlight upon waking. The only slightly negative thing was that the bath/shower could use a grab rail to aid access for not so sprightly seniors such as us. The hotel is only a short block from the Bourke street trams and from there the public transport will take you all over Melbourne.

Lovely modern room (a bit on the small side but that didn't affect our stay), very quiet, great bathroom. Wonderfull location. Parking was a bit expensive (charged extra) but overall a very good experience. Would probably stay there again.

We had a great stay at Medina Grand, hotel staff were friendly, the room was clean and had everything we needed, we were in a 2b room. LCD tv in each room and also in the lounge area was great. On site parking at $21 p/day was convenient. The only problem we had was our room keys kept deactivating and we had to go to reception to have them reactivated. The highlight for us was the restaurant next door, Queen Street Rescue has great food, coffee and lovely attentive staff. We had the tasting plate at about 9pm which was delicious and just enough to keep away the midnight munchies! We will definitely go to the restaurant again even if we are not staying at the hotel.

We had a 3 night stay in a one bedroom apartment. The room was quiet, relatively spacious for two people and had a full kitchen including a dishwasher. The location is excellent, the staff were very welcoming and helpful. The adjoining Cafe/Bar was a great spot for lunch/dinner/drinks - and supplies the room service meals - gluten free meals are available. We will stay here on our next visit to Melbourne.
