Acropoli Hotel Rome Guest Reviews
1st hotel full so had to go here. Arrived to note 'Works in progress', but painting not building works. Booked twin room as with dad for his birthday. 1st room had 4 beds, doors hanging off wardrobe & no drwers in chest. Shown 2 others & chose best of bad lot. Again 4 beds, distinctly musky smell in corridor & room. Carpets threadbare, no phone,no drawers but 2 bedside cabinets-bonus! V small en suite had no extractor fan so bad smell. No plug in sink so shaving difficult. Knees hit sink when sat on toilet. Walls so thin thought water coming thro when neighbours flushed loo. Room faced noisy cafe which closed at 3.00am. Breakfast 1 bread roll, pack 2 'melba toast', tea/coff/choc. Staff v surly. Stayed in hotel in Feb, 150% better & cheaper! Wouldn't recommend to worst enemy!

This is a budget hotel not suitable for families. The noise is what you would expect in a city centre hotel, but certainly not excessive - I stayed in a front room. I have stayed in noisier hotels in Italy that have cost a lot more Euros. Breakfast was not worth attending, there are a couple of decent restaurants nearby. But it is better to walk for 10-15 mins to find somewhere away from the termini area. The room was cleaned everyday and clean towels were provided. The staffs were friendly enough, but did not really see much of them as was out all day. This hotel is fine as a base for sight-seeing, cheap, cheerful and basic. Expect nothing more and you will not be disappointed.

The worst hotel i have ever lived in. I dont understand how a site like [website] can even recommend it. There was no heating in the rooms and the bathroom and the room were extremely small. The hotel was absolutely shady and the breakfast was just dry bread and coffee. i would never recommend this hotel even to people I hate....

this hotel was rubbish for the amount of money it cost. It had no TV or telephone, there were 3 or 4 beds in one room as I was on my own room was no use the toilet was separate from the shower and was so small I had to open the door to wipe myself. My sister was in a hotel round the corner she paid the same price for a week and had a TV, telephone and nice toilet I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

A nice cheap hotel with friendly staff. And located, so you almost can walk to every place.
