Acquarello Swiss Quality Hotel Lugano Guest Reviews
Very basic and budget hotel in the centre of town. Room was comfortable and staff were friendly. Breakfast was quite good considering how basic the hotel facilities are. The hotel is right next to the cable car and is noisy and makes the hotel vibrate - a bit difficult to sleep. Lucky we were there in the winter time and could 'sleep' with the windows closed. The noise might prove to be rather annoying if you are there in the summer time and have to sleep with the windows open.

Next time I am in Lugano, I will stay here. The price is right and the location is fantastic.

Rooms were very neat but small for a double room. Some rooms were larger but had view on the "funiculare" t hat was passing below, which occasioned some disturbances. Breakfast was included and was very good. People at the desk were friendly and helpful

This hotel is adjacent to the funicular that goes to the train station, a bonus when carrying heavy bags. It is very central to good dining and retail areas and not far to the lake and activities.
