Acqua Hotel Mill Valley Marin

Had trouble with exact location if you use the google nav beta (frm. atrix). The nav routed us to the middle of the highway 101, rather than the frontage road where the hotel is at. i guess never to put 100% on your gps. common sense. The hotel is next to the mill valley ferrari dealer and across mc'ds.We had a wonderful experience at Acqua. Later in the evening around 9:30pm we had reservations at piatti (which happens to be a walking distance passed the ferrari dealer). Got in the car and the battery was dead (left the light on. doh!). we asked the front desk ([...] ) person if he happens to have any portable battery starters. he said that he doesnt but he will check if he has jumper cables. [...] was kind enough to help us as we wanted to celebrate my wife and i's 10year wedding anniversary for a dinner at piatti. The next day upon checking out, i wanted to let the front desk ([...] ?manager) that i wanted to put in a good word for [...] that he helped us in making our special day grand. the breakfast was excellent. make sure you tip the lady or else she will clean up your table right away! jk!. view was great but not awe inspiring. if your going to point reyes or inverness, then this is a place where i would recommend even though the bnbs in inverness are much closer to pt.reyes, i still think that this hotel is just right. note: closer wallyworld is in rhonertpark and tarzhey is about 19mins drive. i would highly recommend this place to anyone. I'd love to comeback here if im in the area again.our room was very clean and has a sliding door to go outside (1st floor).bed was very comfy. didnt check what brand it was.also, downtown m.v. is great too even though we passed by around 11pm.-jtr
