Unit by street a wee bit noisy but staff made us welcome and went the extra mile to be helpful.Amenities good

The motel is in a good location and the room was clean. The CBD is 20mins by foot. Located on a very busy road it is not for light sleepers. The bed was very comfortable. A single electric blanket on a queen/king bed was not working so had to keep the heater on all night to keep warm. Bathroom is in need of demolition. Shower is old style, a steel tray and wood ledge to step over which was cracked and peeling and dark stains from mould, like the surrounding wooden walls. A single handbasin and nowhere to put toiletries, if you had any. I arrived from overseas with only a carry on bag so did not have toiletries. Only a soap dispenser in the shower and by the hand basin. Toilet was in the shower area and when flushed sounded like a hairdryer while the cistern refilled. I felt sorry for the neighbours, I had to go twice during the night and the noise from the cistern refilling seemed to go on forever. Not enough room to swing a cat let alone dry yourself. I had been upgraded so would love to see what the other rooms looked like. TV had one sky sport, one movie and a couple of other channels besides the free to air ones so did not get to see any of the Olympic Games on the Saturday and Sunday. Asked for a discount dining voucher which was advised in Motel info book but told there was none and the book was out of date. There were a few very nice 4 star hotels for $10 more which I could have booked into but thought I would give a motel a try. I would probably not stay here again. Budget accommodation at a 3-4 star price.

A we ll appointed motel. Well managed. Staff very obliging. Our motel was spacious with good heating. Would stay there again.
