Our enjoyable one-night stay in a spa suite finished on a sour note when we had the worst breakfast imaginable in the reflections café. For $35 each for a full buffet breakfast we were expecting something special. We were not expecting under-cooked bacon, dubious watery scrambled eggs, inedible croissants that felt like bricks, less-than perfect fruit platters or luke-warm coffee from a vacuum flask. When we asked for a real coffee we were told we would have to pay extra for it. (So we didn't have one...) We like to read the newspaper over breakfast, but there was no complementary reading material - only papers for sale at the counter. No free wi-fi either. The only good thing was that we refused to pay for the awful breakfast. A real shame our perfect night was spoiled by the morning feed.

Hi, Be wary that this is a dated hotel and mainly caters for large bus tours for the elderly. Twice we booked dinner and had to be told they cannot provide as they had bus tours coming in. When we finnaly did get dinner it was WAY overpriced. Will probably stay here when I have retired in 40 years time.

After spending the day travelling from Melbourne to Busselton approx 9hours travel it is the perfect environment to sit back, enjoy the location, their facilities, and recharge the batteries ready for the ensuing weeks business.

Reception staff exceptionally rude, unhelpful and talked at meg speed and did not listen, just gave instructions like orders. Room is called a studio - but just a microwave and some plates and cutlery. Bedside lamps too low to read by. Both outdoor Pools closed for 'Winter' but it was not winter. Only ONE lift for many rooms and long corridors. Room not made up as security latch on - checked and if you have anything in your hand can easily knock it - has no light or signs to tell you about it - they said OUR fault BUT on the front desk they had a mock up of the lock to explain the problem. If not a problem WHY the mock up and other guest at desk also with same problem. Room eventually serviced but only bed and towels - no milk or other amenities. Spa is big but only has a few vents - so just a big bubble bath. No secure or designated parking. Restaurant and cafe over priced. House guests partied till early morning hours both nights we were their. No staff did anything to help quiten them. Only staff that seemed to care were the gardener/handyman and reception lady (Asian) working late on the Saturday afternoon. Its a long way from anything so you need a car to get to town or the shops. Would never go back even if free. If you win a night give it to your enemies.

It was a very quiet time at this hotel. It took a while to get a seat at the cafe to eat and even longer to get served at the reception counter. The phone kept ringing and we just went further down the list to get service. We wanted an extra night but they were not interested. Rooms were good

Great location with good facilities but if it's service you're after they fall short of my expectations for the price they demand. Beware of housekeeping just walking in without knocking first if you don't turn your door key to "privacy" setting! Reception service mediocre at best and didn't offer a map of resort or even where my suite was situated. However, I would stay there again as the spa suite I had was very clean and comfortable

Excellent place to stay, service stafff are friendly. We didn't eat there as it is a bit pricey, but overall enjoyed our stay & would stay again. The hotel was fully booked but we wouldn't have thought so as it was so quiet, which is unusual. Had the best sleep, and woke up 5 min before checkout..

A great place to stay. Slightly more expensive than nearby places but worth it for the great facilities. Well located for both Busselton and the Margaret river region.

Good sized room. Clean & good spacious facilities. However it appeared very underused & the eating facilities were generally very restricted in opening days & times. Location by the beach was nice - but it should be noted that the facility is situated well out of Busselton itself.

VERY expensive restaurant and cafe. Main courses $10 more expensive than top Perth restaurants. $48 for a main course is crazy. cafe prices are are also not affordable. So must go out to eat. I did try a desert in the restauarant and it was horrible. Had to get cafe staff to open the gym, inconvenient. No foxtel in room. Had to buy internet usage. Could only buy 2 hours at a time. Inconvenient if trying to do business. The room was quite nice and hotel ambience quite nice.

Did not appreciate being turned away from the sports bar with my 3 month old son. No air con in the bedrooms, had to leave door open in a 2 bed appartment. service at cafe was good

The accommodation and facilities are first class. The service was very good and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The price was a little bit more than expected for the area. However, I am of the opinion you pay for what you get. Abbey Beach Resort is first class resort and we will be back.

Location was excellent, right on beach and close to all amenities. We were fortunate enough to get a room upgrade from a studio room to a 2 bedroom apartment, which was great although a bit too big for just 2 people. We loved the spa though and the swimming pools.

The foyer of the resort was a very impressive but the air conditioning was not on and it was very hot and stuffy inside. this made checking in unpleasant as was the long walk down the airless corridor to our room. It was ok in the room once we turned on the airconditioner in the room. Other than this first impression the facilities were ok. There didn't seem to be a facilities guide available in the room and the menu for the cafe, restuarant and room service was a tatty photocopy. Not very up market. Glad we didn't pay full price but took advantage of the lower on line rates through [website].
