A Tribute To Music Inn Venice

Very clean and on an excellent location (around 100m from Doges Palace), though difficult to find at first as there is only a door on waterfront with a very small indication sign that can only be read close up. Initially walked past it several times until a close up door by door search led us to location and then inside. Forgot that a "Regular" Italian coffee is only about one teaspoonful! After that mistake, an "Americana" was requested for breakfast. Room had small kettle but staff forgot to provide tea or coffee, so had to ask on 3rd day! Found Venice very expensive, dining out was hit or miss, some small resturants very good, larger ones often a rip-off. Found resturant two bridges over towards Arsenal area that thought would be cheaper as it was away from centre, and cost 100EUROS for 2 Pizzas and a few drinks. The best resturant was "Luna Sentada" on Campo San Severo, Sestiere Castello, 5018 with really good quality, first class presentation and excellent personal attention from manager. Runner-up was only enjoyed for lunch, the "Poste Vecie" which is beside the Rialto Markets and is the oldest resturant in Venice.

A small hotel in an excellent location. There are a lot of restaurants and St Marks Square very close by. A very comfortable bed, clean and modern bathroom, friendly and helpful staff and the best view of the lagoon. I would definetly recommend staying at this hotel.

This hotel was very clean, reasonably priced and a fantastic lopcation on the Grand Canal in Venice. The only criticism I had was that it was VERY hard to find as there is no sign. It looks like a block of apartments with an intercom button that says A Tribute for Music. Don't be put off by the rooms being dedicated to pop stars, they all appeared to be decorated in the typical Venetian manner! Would definately use again.

Very friendly, helpful staff, great location, fantastic views over the lagoon if you go for the lagoon view room (worth the extra). Breakfast continental and adequate. Very clean and quite spacious room. Very convenient for airport transfer as 2 mins walk from the Arsenale Vaporetto stop which is 1 hour straight from airport. Would certainly recommend.

Considering the fact that we were staying in one of the world's mos prestigious cities. A 'Triute to Music' was excellent value for money. I was travelling with my adult siblings and father and found the service to be above standard (we have all travelled exstensively) My father requires a wheelchair sometime and this hotel at least at a lift. The complimentary breakfast was typically european and quaint. Just the sustagen you need for venice. A five minute walk from st Mark's square. Well worth it!

Fantastic, beautifully furnished, large room with a fantastic view across to San Giorgio Maggiore and Salute from two 'french type windows'. Good sized bathroom. Could have stayed in bedroom room all day happiliy watching all the comings and goings in the Riva and Bascino/Lagoon below. Tiny breakfast room and ok served breakfast made for quick turnaround. Would definitely stay again

Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. Being in an older building, the hotel could use a bit of tenderloving care.

The hotel is very small and easy to miss on arrival. Rooms look great on website and are generally OK. Staff are helpful and know the area.

We loved this hotel. Unlike most rooms in Venice where only one person can stand at a time and the window overlooks a crumbling wall three feet away, our triple room was huge, beautifully decorated and looked out over the lagoon and the island of St Giorgio. The location is excellent - 7-8 minutes walk to St Mark's Square. Breakfast was fine; the staff on the front desk unusually helpful; wi-fi in the room was free; satellite TV arriving shortly! When you arrive, take the vaporetto to Arsenale, walk left for one minute, and the hotel is on your right. Look at the house numbers as there is no large sign advertising a hotel.

We were in a great apartment belonging to the hotel in Arsenal neighbourhood (five minutes of sea-side walking to St Marco). Excellent view to the sea, classical style cosy furniture, very nice and helpful staff members, good breakfast. I can highly recommend this hotel to the other members

Excellent hotel and great location for all sites in Venice. Good value for Venice! Lovely room! Huge bathroom (the biggest I have ever seen in any hotel) almost as big as the room itself. Extremely helpful and knowledgeble staff. A few (very) minor niggles: no elevator to 4th floor (not a problem to us but could be to others) no shower curtain (we think ours was the only room without) small TV and no English language programmes (but who goes to Venice to watch TV anyway?). The included breakfast is simple and limited choice but excellent quality. However, the breakfast room is rather small (only 5 tables) so it's best to go very early or very late or ask for it to be served to your room if you don't want to wait.

Very good arrangement. 5 minutes by walking to the Palace of Doges and Square of Sant Mark. The furnishing in the room is stylized under the old times. It is very comfortable. A little inconvenient entrance into the building, but the view from the window to the Channel - wonderful.

We booked here for our first weekend in Venice. The location is very central close to St Marks Square, ferry services at your door and great places to eat. Warnings would be that they do not allow an iron to use in your room. Also, we booked with breakfast included but dont expect anything fancy, it seems the cleaning maids prepare the breakfast and all the food comes from packets. I would certainly stay again, clean, quite room with no noise problems but probably BYO breakfast or eat out. For Venice room was a good size, small bathroom.

A little gem of a hotel for its price category. In a fantastic location. The staff and the service is great. We were upgraded to a canal view room which was lovely. For Italian standards it is a great hotel would definitely stay there again and would recommend it to anyone who is travelling to Venice.
