For backpackers wanting to meet people this hostel/hotel is good value for money.For anybody wanting peace & quiet this is not the place to be!Admitedly i visited during a very busy period(the World Cup) when the staff were under a lot of pressure to keep everybody satisfied.The A & O is ideal for 18-30's but not so good for families. The location is very good about 200m to the nearest metro station.

Shared a private twin room with a family member. Small but clean with a TV and ensuite, so it was a great deal. Breakfast was very basic, but we had a view of the whole of Berlin thanks to a huge advertisement covering the whole building opposite! Good, cheap option near one the main transport hubs, Zoo station.
