Ok for 1 night in Munich. Location 1 Sbahn stop and a 10min walk from main station. Short walk to a great Beer Garden. Its a hostel not a hotel. Very basic. I needed a room for 3 but took a room for 6 asit was all they had - worked out very expensive!

The room was spacious. The facilities were adequate. There was a wide range of food for breakfast that was inexpensive. This hotel had a youthful vibe to it. Lots of young people coming and going. I met 3 young students at the hotel and played a few games of pool and had a few beers with them. Very friendly atmosphere.

This is a hostel but with hotel sized rooms. The hostel bit means that students (potentially noisy) traips up and down the corridors, so if you are a more fussy individual then you will not like this. On the plus side the price was excellent, the room clean, the bath full sized and with a powerful and hot shower, with hand wash and shampoo available in dispensers. The location is two stops form the hauptbahnhof and walkable in 10 minutes but in the wrong direction from the town. i.e. you leave the h-bahnhof and walk away from the centre. If you need clean and cheap this probably can't be beaten.

The cost was expensive although it was Oktoberfest it is unfair to increase prices so much.

For the price, we found the A&O Hotel Munich to be an excellent value for the money. The rates were the best we found for that trip. The breakfast was excellent. We asked about a location for our next stop to book through them, but they had no facility there.

I have enjoyed the stay in the hotel. We found hotel to be really nice and clean place at quite good location well served with public transportation so it was no problem to get anywhere quickly. I can fully recommend. Not only for individual travellers but for families with children, too. The breakfast facility is a bit small so when the hotel is fully booked, it cause long queuing - I suggest to come early if you are in hurry. However, the breakfast was very good, too.
