AC Malaga Palacio Hotel

When we checked in the clerk commented that we had an orbitz reservation. He assigned us a room and the second clerk working changed the assignment saying that we had a discounted room. The room was very small and had a view of a wall of the hotel. We had a second reservation for the next day through the hotel. We literally checked out and checked back in and were given a room with a view of the beach and the city. If you book through Orbitz expect to be treated like a fifth class customer. Hotel is ok, room allocation stinks.

Very nice hotel in great location overlooking Malaga harbour. Fabulous views from rooftop pool and bar area, overlooking the cathedral. Very clean and spacious room, comfortable bed. Staff excellent - always willing to help.

Location was excellent. Rooms functional but a bit stark for our taste. Unfortunately water went off for 10 hours one day and two of the three lifts were inoperational for one of the mornings, which resulted in a half hour wait for the lift (our room on 10th floor so very inconvenient). Staff were polite but not friendly.

The best part of the hotel is its location. The hotel staff are not a friendly lot, but I was not expecting them to be. The breakfast, for the cost of EUR 16 per head is expensive, considering the choice on the menu. But, the area around offers cheaper options so thats good. I would recommend this hotel to people who only want a room to stay in the center of Malaga. Its a happening place around the hotel.

Rooftop pool a bit small, but excellent views and general location allow you to explore old town Malaga on foot. Clean/modern rooms. What you would expect from a hotel catering for business travellers.

Excellent hotel, in the center of town. 10min walk to the beach. Next door to the cathedral, and the main shopping district. Nice (but a bit costly) breakfast.

Lovely hotel situated next door to the Cathedral and over from the port area. Hotel rooms were, very new, clean and had everything you needed. Everything you need for a short trip only a stroll away. Would highly recommend, hotel staff great, easy check in and check out. Swimming pool on the roof terrace also!

Free mini bar is excellent! Great pool and views from that top floor Can be a little noisy, walls quite thin, another door is needed in the room between the corridor door and bathroom

My one disappointment with this hotel was that the fitness center was unavailable due to renovations & that the pool & roof-garden are only open during the summer. My understanding that these ammenities were available on-site was one of my reasons for selecting this hotel.

Very good hotel with large rooms and beds. Car parking nearby in local car park was quite expensive and very busy. Great views over the harbour. Recommended.

If you're looking for a hotel in Malaga then the Palacio Hotel is the one. Excellent location, very clean and contemporary hotel. My only criticism was there was no safe in the room. Also Malaga is a must for a long weekend break. I would put it above Madrid and Valencia and only just behind Barcelona.

We enjoyed our 3rd visit to A.C Malaga Palacio.Rooms were spotless, staff were friendly and professional. There was a great choice of food for breakfast but if you couldn't face that there were lots of nearby bars serving continental breakfast with local atmosphere.Great location.Could do with a few more sunbeds. Excellent holiday again!
