We stayed in 6 hotel/motels around the South Island, and we found 58 On Cron Motel to be the most comfortable, and the owner/proprietor could not be more helpful. We will definitely stay there again, if we return to Franz Josef.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The buildings and furnishings are just beautiful. It's a pity you are not allowed to cook spicy food however. Thoroughly recommend.

Good value and great room. Found the lock on the door difficult to operate! Ideal location for all the Franz Joseph attractions.
