A very nice hotel at a perfect location on the main (touristic) road in Luang Prabang. Perfectly renovated old french colonial buildings. Two excellent restaurants (one Western, one Lao). The only thing we missed was a pool. Luang Prabang -being part of such a poor country- is surprisingly expensive, and this hotel probably beats it all. But you definitely get something for the money.

This boutique-hotel is a refurbished grand house in the traditional style, but with all the modern comforts, so it has a lot of charm. It''s very clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. There are no TVs, but large private porches for leisurely reading. The food is excellent and the breakfast is incredibly lavish (included in the price). The location could not be better.
